Justine & Arran 22nd July 2021

Justine and Arran’s big wedding was at the stunning Orchardleigh Estate. This was my first time shooting a wedding here and it won’t be my last because the venue is just spectacular! Bella (my second photographer) and I worked with some fabulous suppliers for this wedding including the wonderful Holly and Jack from Jensen Films, Pultney Bridge Flowers, Bridal hair by Rose and Bridge Strings.

Justine spent the night before the big day at the Castle on the estate, where she had her make up done the morning of the wedding. She then moved into the beautiful Bonita Suite which overlooks the grounds and the ceremony. Justine had her hair done by the wonderfully talented Rose. Justine had the most stunning flower crown and most epic shoes designed by Harriet Wilde. While taking pictures of Justine and her friends and family getting ready, she told me that she had bought her wedding dress before she even got engaged to Arran. She is the only bride I have ever met who has done this, and I tell you what, it was so worth it because it was on sale, and she looked drop dead gorgeous in it!

The ceremony was outside and was decorated charmingly with two pillars covered in balloons at the end of the aisle. The inside was dressed perfectly with flowers from Pultney Bridge Flowers. After the ceremony we managed to get a spectacular confetti shot with friends and family lining the aisle for Justine and Arran to walk down with a wonderful background of Orchardleigh Estate.

My favourite part of the day was leaving the guests to be entertained by Bridge Strings while drinking and eating canapes in the sun so we could take Justine and Arran for some couple shots. Just before the wedding they had told me they were expecting a baby and that they wanted to get some photos of the scan and baby shoes in their wedding attire to announce it. I was so excited by this and delighted to have been asked to capture this moment for them.

After a lovely walk through the gardens and some nice group photos it was time to relax and photograph the rest of the day as it happened. Capturing the speeches, cake cutting and first dance. Thank you for having Bella and I Justine and Arran, it was a cracking day!
