How lovely it was to be asked to be Charlotte and Oli’s Caswell House Wedding Photographer. Such a beautiful and spacious venue in Oxfordshire. With a limitless amount of photo opportunities, this beautiful venue was such a privilege to be at. The venue is managed by the family who have lived at the house for decades, making it a unique and distinct place to get married.

The Day at Caswell House
I arrived to be greeted by Charlotte’s made of honour, who is also a wedding photographer. No pressure! Charlotte and her bridesmaids were getting their hair and make-up done by my wonderful friend Ruth Tong Hair and Make-up. The vibe in the bridal room was super relaxed and they were just having a nice time drinking prosecco and eating breakfast snacks.
After a few hours with the girls, I decided to go and find Oli and capture him with his groomsmen and of course the couple’s dog Freddie. The couple exchanged their vows in the barn surrounded by their family and friends. It was a very emotional ceremony filled with happy tears.
After the ceremony there was a chance to enjoy drinks in the gardens with a jazz band playing, who also played them out of the ceremony. Oli plays, so this was very special for him to witness on his special day. The grounds at Caswell House are stunning! There are so many secret gardens and rustic feature walls for couple and group photographs. After exploring and getting some lovely snaps it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The evening then set off with a bang as we were treated to a beautiful sunset and the band played on into the evening.

Caswell House is a stunning venue; fit with everything you need to enjoy your wedding celebrations. The venue caters for 140 guests for the ceremony and dining experience, with the ability to host 200 evening guests. The house has 16 bedrooms for guests who want to stay. The buildings are an original honey colour, surrounded by land and stunning gardens. The staff at Caswell House work together to make sure your special day goes as planned and that you have every detail you can imagine for your perfect day.
