Bristol City Wedding
Bristol City Wedding, with beautiful sunset at Clifton suspension bridge
Georgia and Will 15th November 2024
Georgia and Will booked me for their Bristol City wedding only a few months before they tied the knot in November 2024. They had been engaged for a while and have a beautiful 10-month-old son. They soon realised what was most important to them and that was to just be married. Therefore, they decided not to wait anymore and just go for it and exchange their vows at the Bristol registry office near St Nicholas market in front of their nearest and dearest followed by a big old party at Racks Bar in Clifton.
The Wedding Day
I was so excited to be Georgia and Will’s Bristol City wedding photographer. I absolutely love these more intimate marriage celebrations. It gives me the chance to be super creative with my images. This couple were my vibe, they were totally up for whatever I suggested. As a passionate colourful photographer, it was so refreshing! Around the Bristol registry office there is plenty of opportunities for snaps.
I met the couple at the registry office, and it wasn’t long before they were ready to get married. The ceremony took place in the Mayoral Room which is a popular choice for couples wanting a grand but intimate ceremony. Their son brought the rings down the aisle and the couple exchanged vows. To celebrate we threw confetti as they walked out into the public eye of Bristol City through an arch of confetti.
After some group photos and some mingling the bride, groom and I went off to explore the area around St Nicholas Market for some couple portraits. We came across the coolest graffiti alley, where I have been before on an engagement shoot but never with a Bride and Groom. Once we got some lovely city wedding photos, we headed up to the Clifton suspension bridge for some beautiful sunset snaps.
I then left Georgia and Will to go for lunch with their family at Clifton No.4 and met them again later for an epic party celebration at Racks Bar in Clifton, Bristol.
