Louise & Luke’s Spring wedding at Priston Mill, near Bath

When I first spoke to Louise and Luke about their Spring wedding at Priston Mill I knew instantly we would get along. We were all on the same vibe with what they wanted out of their photographs. This gorgeous wedding couple have the same dog as me, a German Shorthaired Pointer who was going to be there on the day of the wedding, which was incredibly exciting. I was shooting this celebration at Preston Mill with my video partner in crime and colleague Frankie from FJB Visuals. Frankie and I always have such fun shooting weddings together and Priston Mill was where we actually photographed and filmed our first ever wedding together.

The wedding day started in Bath, Luke was getting ready with his groomsmen at his parents house while Louise was just a stones throw away with her mum and bridesmaids at the Bath Mill Lodges.

Once Louise was ready and looking absolutely stunning, she did a first look with her bridesmaids and parents which was full of tears and smiles. Very sadly Louise’s Grandad had passed away a few months before the wedding so her mum had his name sewn into her dress.

Luke waited patiently arriving the guests at Priston Mill. Once they met it was such a special moment, one they can cherish forever by looking back at their photos. Everyone looked dapper and full of love in their Spring colour wedding attire. After a confetti shot outside with their gorgeous dog Maya and some group photos, the day was celebrated with bubbles and mingling with their guests.

For the couple portraits we made most of the wedding venue’s surrounding fields and took the maid of honour’s and best men to the fields with Lousie and Luke to have a bit of fun with some smoke bombs. Louise and Luke also practised their first dance in front of the rolling hills of Bath. It was such a precious moment to capture and such a pleasure to be their wedding photographer.

After dinner, some lovely speeches and a cake cut it was time for Louise’s dress change and their first dance. They absolutely smashed it and it was time for the party to commence. What a wonderful day it was, Frankie and I had the best time and can’t wait to go back to Priston Mill again soon!
